Zeshin was a painter, printmaker and lacquerware designer. During his career he made more than seventy woodblock prints of flowers and (or) birds. Forty-four examples are shown in this gallery. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Picture 44 was included in a series of prints entitled Hana Kurabe (i.e., Comparison of Flowers) published between 1875 and 1890.
